Danmarks Breve

BREV TIL: Richard Colley Wesley FRA: Carsten Tank Anker (1814-05-07)

1.

To

Right Honorable Marquis of Wettesley,

Knight of the Garter etc.

Mr. Anker presents his respectful Compliments to the Righ: Honorable Marquis of Wellesley and though Mr. Anker is not so fortunate to have the Honor of being personally known to His Lordship, Mr. Anker flatters himself, that he as a brother to General P. Anker, Governor of the Danish Settlements in the East Indies, who was not officially unknown to His Lordship, may be allowed to request the favor of an interview with His Lordship, when most convenient for His Lordship to receive Mr. Anker, who will feel particularly grateful for His Lordships Complying.

6 York Street, St. James Square the 7th May 1814.

[Høivelbaarne Hr. Marquis af Wettesley, Hosebaandsridder etc.

Hr.
